Pro Bono… service above self!
Along with serving in charitable boards, we often take on critical projects that serve important cause – where vulnerable community members benefit.

Once a year in March, I select a non-profit project that merits attention and benefits community. Over an email, tell me the story – what’s going on, and why YOU are involved.
I’ll let you know if I can help.
In January 2014, we celebrated the completion of the Barbara A. Kazen Center for Hope at Bethany House of Laredo, a homeless services provider. Having the passion for serving the homeless and a tribute to a great servant leader and friend, our team was pleased to have provided the owner representative and asset management services at no cost to the organization.
The project, which is pursuing a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) designation, added nearly 11,000 square feet to provide an emergency shelter for women, 9 additional transitional housing units for families, a classroom, a wellness center, a larger courtyard, a meditation niche, and administrative offices. The project cost was $ 2.4 million.
